Raising money for Dogs Trust
Leading specialist telephone fundraising agency The Phone Room have selected to support Dogs Trust during the month of December as part of their 15 month programme of charitable and fundraising events to give something back to the industry and their loyal clients that have worked with them over the last 15 years.
Dogs Trust is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK. Their mission is to bring about the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction. Each year they care for around 16,000 dogs at their nationwide network of over 17 rehoming centres as well as working on a variety of other projects and campaigns with vets, government and the public.
Dogs Trust and The Phone Room have worked together since 2007 on a variety of campaigns and are currently running a highly successful cash to committed campaign. This has included securing a one off £500 donation to the much needed funds to run the charity. Annual upgrade campaigns are also in progress – upgrading both regular giving and dog sponsorship.
Helen Bath, new Managing Director at The Phone Room said “At The Phone Room we work for a variety of clients including a number of animal charities such as Dogs Trust. As one of our biggest and most loyal clients it was only right that Dogs Trust was included in our 15th Anniversary campaign and it seemed perfect time to support them in the run up to Christmas – alongside the current campaigns we are running on their behalf.”
The Phone Room are raising funds for Dogs Trust during the month through activities including a Christmas pet photo competition and Office Christmas dress up day, alongside working to raise awareness of Dogs Trust and their mission across the wider industry and beyond.
Started in 1997, one of the longest established service providers in the industry, The Phone Room uses the telephone and mobile devices working across the not for profit sector to provide both inbound and outbound services for their clients. Their key area of expertise is talking to supporters of a wide range of organisations, from household name charities and universities to local hospices and theatres and everything in between, developing relationships and building loyalty. Specialist IT and fulfilment teams ensure that all angles of a successful campaign are covered, including data cleaning and a timely ‘thank you’ to ensure that supporter loyalty is maximised.
